Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Launched in India

Samsung seems to have launched its Galaxy Tab 7.7 GT-P6800 tablet (also known as Tab 680) in the Indian market, which was unveiled in September 2011 at the gadget show IFA held in Germany. The Galaxy Tab 680 is powered by Android 3.2 and a 1.4 GHz processor.

It is perhaps the first Galaxy Tab to have the AMOLED screen displayed with a 7.7 inch HD Super AMOLED Plus. The tablet weights about 340g and comes loaded with features like TouchWiz UI, HSPA+ can calling functionality. The tablet is also upgradable to the Android 4.0.

Galaxy Tab 680 sports a 3MP primary camera with Auto Focus support. It also has a 2MP secondary camera with a LED Flash. It supports 720p HD video recording and full HD video playback support, microSD card slot, 16GB internal memory and 5100mAh battery. The tablet packs 5,100 mAh battery which offers up to 10 hours of video playback time.

The tablet is already on sale on Flipkart for Rs. 33,571 for 3G version.
